Introduction
Materials
- Thioflavin T
- Distilled water
Procedure
- Weight out 3mg of Thioflavin T.
- Measure 10mL of dH2O.
- Mix both components in a 15mL falcon tube.
- Filter the solution through a 0.2 μm syringe filter. This stock solution should be stored in the dark and is stable for about one week in the fridge.
Protocol to produce ≅10mL of Thioflavin T stock solution (1mM)
