Introduction

We can measure very small quantities of DNA with a Nanodrop Spectrometer

Materials

  • Nanodrop Spectometer

Procedure

Measure

  1. Clean stage with Kimwipe soaked with DI water.
  1. Wipe stage with dry Kimwipe.
  1. Add 2µL DI water on stage and make blank measurement.
  1. Wipe stage with dry Kimwipe.
  1. For each DNA sample, add 2µL and measure and record the concentration (ng/uL). Wipe stage dry with Kimwipe between measurements.
  1. To finish, clean stage with Kimwipe soaked with DI water and then wipe dry.
