    Measure the amount of cellulose present in the 4 day culture tube.

    Use 25 mL NaOH in Step 4 (in the original protocol it does say 25 -eric)

    Wait only 1.5 hours in Step 4

    The experiment 2 tube appeared to be missing right before the overnight incubation (air-dry)

    It could possibly have slipped through during one of the rinse stages, for it was exceptionally clear

    We expect there to be some mass of BC, roughly equal in all trials

    Conclusion
    There appears to be some growth over the 4 days; however, the experiments gave drastically different results. Sample 2 almost certainly lost the BC (somewhere in the rinsing procedure?), and the drastic differences between Samples 1 and 3 is unprecedented. It is to be noted that there actually was growth, after all in such a short period of time. Furthermore, the reason that the wax gained mass in sample 2 even without BC is unknown.
