6/6: Initial Wave Bioreactor Agitation Tests

Sunday, 6/9/2019
Objectives
The objective of this K. Rhaeticus Agitation Test is to see what would happen to the cell culture if it were placed in a wave bioreactor (as opposed to using the sparging method or a static bioreactor).
Significant Notes
Everything went really smoothly, except when it came to pipetting the K.Rhaeticus cell culture into the 150 mm petri dishes because there was already a big clump of BC that formed which made pipetting a little challenging because the tip would catch onto a piece of the BC.
Expected results
The bacterial cellulose to grow in an even layer using the wave bioreactor.
